Early Fall is one of my favorite times of year because the weather is still warm and you can still find time to relax and unwind before the hectic holiday season. It’s also ideal for trying new iced drinks before the temperature starts dropping. With this unique cocktail recipe, you get the best of both worlds of herbal and green tea flavor, brought out by elements of citrus. The distinctive flowery taste of the tea leaves creates a one of a kind beverage like you’ve never had. You really can’t go wrong with iced tea, so why not try it with alcohol?
Ingredients (Serves 6)
2 cups chilled Jasmine Green Tea
2 cups chilled hibiscus tea
2 cups vodka
1 cup lemon juice
1 lime cut into slices
1. Prepare tea in advance by separately brewing jasmine green tea and hibiscus leaves in hot water. Strain and sweeten them with sugar. Leave both teas in the fridge for a while to chill.
2. In a pitcher or large container combine vodka and lemon juice, and add the 2 teas. Stir if necessary.
3. Pour into glasses over ice and garnish with lime slices. Enjoy!
